Reporting a termination or suspension
Under Section 90.1(2) of the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), employers must promptly report to the College of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of Prince Edward Island (CASLPPEI) if they suspend or terminate an audiologist or speech-language pathologist the engagement was full-time or part-time employment, or external (e.g., contractor or consultant)—due to misconduct, incompetence, or incapacity. This notification must be made to the College's Council without delay.
